Well, Eco is probably one of the last american producers, who didn't sellout.
"What happnd to music with emotions?"

So I'm guessing that clinches Black Hole as the label and a release date of September 30th.

Altair (04-01-2016)

30th september. You got to be kidding me.
I have lost count on how many times Eco has said the album is finished. Only to then realise a few weeks later hes talking about finishing some song that will be on the album.
Also as we all know countless times he has said it will ''soon'' be out.
For a while now hes been saying 100% guaranteed it will be out early in 2016.
I just dont get it, how is it even possible :P
Ofcourse he has created a huge hype which in a way is cool in itself but meh everything has its limits.
It was fun for a while, now Eco to me seems like the most messy person on earth.
If the album wont be as good as i hope it will be i will litterarily dislike him forever :P
Doubt it will get delayed again now though, and im sure it will be out in september but cmon. Why such a long time?
Ive thought for a while that the reason it took so long was that he was going to release on some major major label (not talking about the trance labels).
Very confusing this ^^ But i guess im happy we have a releasedate atleast.
Also its 1st of april today, i dont like that he is giving out the info today :P

I know a lot of people will be disillusioned by how long you have waited for this album and maybe moreso now, realizing there is still 6 months to go; I fully understand. There are many reasons it has been delayed, many reasons it has taken so long to produce this record, so I feel the need to explain to my biggest fans why. Understand that I am not a full-time musician. I think that may be one of the biggest reasons you love my music; but it's also the biggest reason my music has taken so long to get out to you. I made a choice a long time ago (even before "M(you)sic" was released) to be a working man, to not fall into the trap of becoming a full-time trance producer; to not do it as a "job". It is not some magical coincidence that many of the artists you used to love have made that leap, and then felt the pressures to change their sound into something that could sell; something that could pay their bills and put food on the table and keep their lights and plumbing on. It is not some magical coincidence that the pressures of the music world turned their music and live performances toward styles that you no longer enjoy, styles that make more money, money they need to survive.
I made the decision to avoid that, and that decision is what has fueled me in making music that my fans continue to enjoy, music that has its roots fully embedded into the styles I produced before, styles you enjoyed from the start. That decision also means I go to work Monday-through-Friday, put in 10-11 hours in at an office, and go home. I go home tired like everyone else in the office world. Most people go home, microwave their dinner, watch TV all night or play video games; but I do my best to find rejuvenation in writing the music, mostly, writing the music that you will hear in this album. I sit there, writing music until 2-3AM, sometimes 4AM. I get 2 hours of sleep, many times don't even eat dinner, and then I go back into work the next morning; like you.
I don't mean this as a complaint; quite the opposite, it makes me unbelievably happy. I find a certain zen in not feeling the endless stress and pressure in NEEDING my music to pay my bills every month. That kind of pressure would have made me go the EDM route lightning-fast, like many many of my peers. Like the first cavemen who produced nature-inspired cave drawings, I go out everyday to hunt for my food, and I come back every night to produce my art in the comfort of my home; doing it to please no one but myself. I wouldn't have it any other way.
So days turn to weeks turn to months turn to years. Target dates I set out to meet previously go unmet, but my life goes on, and so does yours. It may seem like I've been creating an endless hype train for the release of these songs, and while that may have happened, it was not my chief intention. As months turned to years, my intention became to put out the best product that I possibly could. If estimates and promises (about completion dates/ranges) were broken, that's because I felt that the art needed more work and more attention; more sleepless nights, more tired days at work, more weekends saying "no" to friends asking to hang out. If you think the wait was annoyingly hard for you, imagine how hard the process has been for me. Hard, but worth it. And then when it's almost done, the daunting AND LONG task of finding the right label with the right vision and the right resources begins. An agreement is made, and even then the album cannot be released right away. Singles, music videos, press, etc., need to be planned out. These are the realities of the process.
Some people will download for free off torrents or whatever, give it a 15 minute listen and say they "don't really like" my 4 years-worth of work. That's fine, it happens. But I hope all those years of work will inspire even just some of you and be an album you remember for the rest of your lives. When the album comes out in 6 months, I promise you it will all be worth it.

Good statement by Eco

So glad he took the time to explain. It made me fully understand this wait. He said it'll be worth it, I don't even have the bravery to re-listen to the samples... When he said it had some "Tonight Is Forever" influences, that was IT for me. Come September 30th, this will be bought. Wonder when the price is going to be revealed.

Which is his best track?
#Sicknessesintheair
Say no to STEROIDS.

Tonight is forever is problably the song i played the most in total.
But the last few years i think maybe these (in no particular order).
Love the jazzy stuff he managed to put into this one.
Always liked this eventhough its a bit coldplay ish.
And this one.
A bit hard to decide, depends on mood i guess. I have around 80 songs from him so a bit hard to pick ^^
