I didn't vote, but if this is true then you can clearly see that people who vote for this list don't know anything about EDM
It is not that I say that a trance artist should win it...... But Martin Garrix :O Some 17 year old kid who just scored 1 hit and his follow up sounds almost exactly the same

i havent voted as well, not gonna vote, there are far more better charts out there, also voting for best 2014 dj in july or whenever it started is just ridiculous
2016 TOP 5 (updated in July)
    1. Aymon - Sopor
    2. Avenue One feat. Fenja - Call of Summer (Suncatcher Remix)
    3. M.I.K.E. Push - Estivate
    4. The Noble Six - Oddworld
    5. Aurosonic - They Wait For Us (Progressive Remix)

I hope it is true. You can evidently see that there are less and less DJ's pushing for votes with each passing year and i think that's consequence to its comical results in the past. It's constantly losing credibility and with a bit of luck this could be the final nail in coffin. Nobody really cares about it apart from uneducated promoters who make their bookings based on it.

Don't really care about this. But I'm happy that new names are taking over, despite the music they play
If you are free in your dreams, then why don't you go to places you always wanted to go?

Didn't vote for the first time this year and I've never spoke to anyone who has praised the poll. Those who take notice into it are those who love the likes of Hardwell and Garrix, musical sheep

I can understand the Hardwell "phenomenon", because he was the rising star for the POP & EDM industry.

And the guy was trying really hard to be someone.

But then I forgot that Music Industry changes its artists every year..

And EDM is now part of it.

I hope Hardwell to realize that Industry is not a community that will support you and make you grow.

They will get all of you and leave you as a peace of ***** in the middle of the street.

And that's what's going to happen with most of these guys.

What! No Steve Aoki in the top 5 This list is so overrated. But still important for the promoters of danceparties worldwide unfortunately.

In some way, in the very end i could understand Hardwell's #1 to some extent, but i will never be able to digest Martin Garrix as his talent is none... the 'Tomorrowland phenomenon' strikes again i guess...

That would explain Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, NOT Martin Garrix. What exactly has Garrix done, apart from Animals?
