Pretty poor if I'm being honest

I'm not in love with it by any means, but I find that this uplifting style is more appealing than the popular Adam Ellis tracks for example. I find the basslines much cleaner, the structure less formulaic and overall a better balance with all the elements...things can breathe. There is no sledgehammer kick, wall of sound or going-through-the-motions melody for example.

I'm not really the best to judge I guess...I don't listen to much uplifting since 2007, but I do get confused with massive popularity for Ellis (he does have good tracks) but then people calling this poor. I cant really see the difference...

I hear what you're saying. I like Mac & Monday's sound, its relatively innovative and has real character, but Im not feeling this one at all. Its rather weak in comparison to previous works, not because of their production style.
