Throughout his impressive career, time-honoured DJ and producer Ferry Corsten has tirelessly paved the way with a steady stream of output that has consistently revolutionized the world of electronic music. Signaling his intent for the upcoming year, Corsten has announced the launch an innovative new EP series that will showcase his production capabilities in full. Set for release on February 23 via his own Flashover Recordings, the first three tracks to be taken from ‘Hello World EP Part 1’ are available to stream now.
The first in a triumvirate due for release throughout the coming year, ‘Hello World EP Part 1’ further proves why Ferry has long since been regarded as one of the pioneers of the electronic music scene. Comprised of seven unique tracks, the Dutch giant effortlessly demonstrates his musical versatility, drawing elements from electro to progressive, trance, tech, house and beyond to create a diverse and inspired first installment to the series.
Ferry Corsten dives straight in with the hugely successful electro-pop track ‘Hyper Love’, a record that has been dominating the radio since its release last year and a firm fan-favourite. ‘Back To Paradise’ is a progressive stunner with a top line from Haris and ‘Beat As One’ featuring the striking vocal talent of Angelika Vee, in which hypnotic chords are studded with hooky harmonies. A dark and minimal melody leads the intriguingly inspired ‘Tonka’, and is sure to entice club and festival-goers for years to come. Big room synths snake you through the anthemic single ‘Make It Ours’ featuring Chris Jones and two high-energy Flashover mixes of ‘Back To Paradise’ and ‘Make It Ours’ ensure an epic conclusion that will leave fans begging for more.
With just over a month to go until the release of ‘Hello World EP Part 1’, be sure to tune into Corsten’s Countdown every week to hear an exclusive premiere of each track from the EP.

Going by those samples id say this EP would be more fitting in the Other EDM Releases section. Dire stuff, Ferry.

I would like to ask mods for movement this thread to another section. Too awful for 'Trance Releases'![]()
Hard to believe this is the same guy -with all respect to Ferry- who supposed to be the producer of Origami
Whatever happened to Ferry Corsten, he was good back then with his System F alias but right now he is just producing cheesy uninspiring music.
Like Origami is an essence of underground trance music... it's cheesy as hell! And it's quite opposite IMO, he shows how versatile and talented producer he is for not focusing only on one genre.
EDIT: Back To Paradise ain't bad, Nat Dunn sounds very good on Hyper Love as well, but melody is damn uninspired. Rest of the tracks terribly suck...

But wouldnt it be nice if he showed that versitality and focus on any type of genre or style but this. Literally ANY other genre. Like if he made techno, or psybient. Maybe even some breakbeat or house music...I would never have lost some respect for him. I don't think he's trying to be verstile with this music, just manufacturing for the majority.

Fair enough, I see what your saying. I would'nt say that in 1998 he was manufacturing Trance though, as he loved the music and you could hear that in the tracks. He knows the track he has to make now are shit, but does it anyway becuase this is demand. Thats a big difference from 98.
none of the tracks have absolutely anything to do with trance, why is it here?
