Interesting. Are you just throwing that out there because you might want to distant yourself from everyone else and strive to "be different" or do you you actually listen to this 11 min journey of melodic trance and "just don't feel it" for real? I do understand it if you don't like melodic or the lighter side of trance at all if you don't feel it, but if you are indeed a fan of the style in general I don't really get how you can't feel it. Although, I don't always feel everything that most other peole are feeling either because you're in a special mindstate, so I guess that can be the case aswell.

I love the melodic side of trance, but I'm the exact same. It just doesn't grasp me the same way as it does others. I think my issue is i like my melodies with more power. I find the elements that collectively make the melody in this to be a little too subtle. Im also not overly enthusiastic about those throbbing-style basslines. They don't flow enough for me. That being said, there is absolutely no doubting the calibre of the production.

I guess the answer would be that in 2006 this track got overshadowed by other tracks (Make U Mine, Carabella, Divine etc) which I liked more and Arisen didn't stand out in the end. After that I have listened to it a few more times, but it just didn't trigger anything. I won't say that I 'tried' to like it - that's not my thing, I either like a track after first few listens or I don't and this is the one which I never go back to when I am reminiscent of 2006.

lol plz niggah, this is not the fucking holy grail of trance music. I have never liked this track either, its just.. meh
