Soooo many movies I've watched. Can't even remember which ones. Might just make a list and descriptions and then post it here, but I have no patience or time for that just yet.

I quite enjoyed the first and had been debating over whether to watch the second as the trailers didn't really do it any justice and now you've pretty much confirmed my predictions. Ill avoid it.

Star Wars episode 7: The Force Awakens. In my opinion the best film this year and also the best one in the series (and I'm a big Star Wars fan).

Interesting. Does it surpass the originals for you? Im going to see it tomorrow night with my old boy. We're both Star Wars geeks too. I remember him introducing me to it when i was 8 via the VHS trilogy and watching it weekly basis for about a year.

Back from Star Wars. Really enjoyed the movie! Went with my little nephew who is a SW fan. He loved it! The last fight scene is pretty weak though. Overall a great movie!

Not really the last movies I watched, but what the hell. The movies are from the Broken Lizard comedy group (Jay Chandrasekhar, Erik Stolhanske, Paul Soter, Steve Lemme and Kevin Heffernan).

Puddle Cruiser (1996) - an ok college-type movie, it can be funny at times, but it just doesn't feel like a movie. Could watch it again sometimes, it's nothing special.

Club Dread (2004) - parody on specific type of horror movies - and it works! The characters are crazy and interesting, but the movie can go dull sometimes.

Beerfest (2006) - cool movie, again great characters, it's also funny at times.

The Dukes Of Hazzard (2005) - an excellent comedy, also Jessica Simpson.

    Aaaand the best one:

Super Troopers (2001) - I think it's the funniest movie I've ever watched (a close tie with The Big Lebowski). It's just brilliant and very quotable. I enjoy every second of it, I have watched it several times and I will watch it again.

What I like about the group is that they have so many different characters and they pull them off. The movies just wouldn't work without those characters. The characters make most of their movies. A lot of the movies aren't mindblowingly amazing, but rather decent.

    -----

Will write reviews for Bond films - I finished the 6th one (out of 20 - without Daniel Craig as I watched them all - including Spectre). When I finish them all, I'll be able to put Spectre (the movie) into perspective so I'll write the review then - but I like the movie.

That's a tough question but I think ultimately my answer would be yes. It has pretty much everything I like about Star Wars and then some. I never really liked Return of the Jedi that much, but A New Hope and the Empire Strikes Back are of course classic masterpieces. I don't think any sci-fi film can ever surpass them on certain areas because they introduced the world to Star Wars and they have that classic sci-fi feel that I don't think is possible to replicate in today's world. But that said, I think this one is even better in certain aspects.

I thought that scene was great. I had goosebumps all over my body when the soundtrack kicked in during a very specific moment. I could even feel them on my legs which is extremely rare for me haha!

There is only one other moment in the Star Wars universe where I literally got goosebumps and that was in A New Hope when Luke looks out over the horizon into the desert with the sun setting and that same piece of soundtrack kicks in and he decides to leave the planet. But that was not as intense as I experienced in episode 7. Honestly I think it's my favourite fight scene in the whole Star Wars saga, perhaps tied with the finale of episode III (even those who didn't like the prequels should admit that fight scene is amazing )

I really think the new Star Wars movie was bad. Kylo Ren's character is the biggest joke I've seen in any episodes. The fight scene with the girl (whick made me wtf either...) was very weak, also the plot too.

Sounds like I'll be in disagreement with a lot of you, but this is easily the worst episode of Star Wars imo.

Seen it, mate. Quite enjoyable, but it didn't quite deliver a satisfying conclusion. Few too many unanswered questions.
