Haha, because the first one wasn't complete horse sh!t, so I gave the second one a chance as well - don't watch it

Just finished watching Cold Pursuit, a weird mixture of comedy, action and crime. Not really my taste and an odd atmosphere and complete nonsense story. Some of the humor was so bad it made it good. 4/10
I also watched the 2014 version of Godzilla for the first time. Pretty good visuals and great build up to the final act. Again some nonsense story lines thrown in there and bad characters all over, but I enjoyed it. 6/10

Tomorrow I'll watch Godzilla 2 and perhaps even John Wick 3 if I find time for it.

Godzilla 2: A big mess of a movie. Sure, the monsters were cool and all that - for 20 minutes or so, not 2 god damn hours! The story was non-existing and the characters awful. 3/10

Aladdin: Well... it's Aladdin. Will Smith was shockingly the best thing about the movie. The colors were great and all that, but in the end it's pretty bland and nothing compared to the original one. It didn't make me angry like Godzilla or anything like that. Straight down the middle for me. 5/10

Rocketman: Luckily the movies gets better and better and Rocketman was a damn blast. Taron Egerton was amazing(!) and I was enjoying every scene with him in it. I honestly didn't know it was a full blown musical, but I enjoyed that. Can recommend. 7/10

John Wick 3: Awesome action movie, one of the best this year. Some of the fighting scenes were so over the top I loved it. The movie felt a bit long and the final fight scene dragged on a bit, but I was enjoying myself pretty much from start to finish. 7/10

Off to see Dark Phoenix later today which has been called "the worst X-Men movie yet" - can't wait to see how they fuck this up and how it can be any worse than Apocalypse!

    I Am Mother

Very decent Sci-Fi Netflix movie starring Hillary Swank and some teenage kid. Story was definitely not strong enough to make this excellent, al though it had it's moments. The visuals were damn good though.

    Dark Phoenix

So yeah, got to see Dark Phoenix and what a boooooooooooore of a movie, holy f*ck. It honestly wasn't as bad as Apocalypse, which I still think is one of the worst superhero movies ever made, but I actually ended up giving it the same rating on IMDB, but that's mostly because of how much potential the story had. Seriously, the story behind it is pretty damn cool, but this is a case study of how NOT to handle that material. The first 15-20 minutes were all right I guess, but after that everything just fell apart - the pacing was all over the place, the story dragged on for way too long at times and the main villain; Seriously, I dare everyone to write a less interesting character in a superhero movie. F*ck me that character was bad, Gerard Butler from Gods of Egypt had more things to do.
Michael Fassbender was great as always and so was James McAvoy. Sophie Turner was great in it as well, but her character goes from happy to sad to villain to what-ever at the end in a split second and everything felt so rushed and dragged at the same time. It's pretty amazing how they can pull that off.
Oh and one last thing; Sure, the budget was most likely 1 billion dollars or some shit like that, but that surely didn't go to the CGI, because god damn, I've seen better effects in Attack Of The Killer Donuts.

    3/10

And while I have your attention, I have to get this off my chest; I absolutely HATE Jennifer Lawrence as an actress and human being. Everything about her is like a 12 year old trying to be way cooler and older than she is. Everything has to be SO DAMN INTENSE and her look is the same no matter what. Sad, happy, excited, bored, pain? BOOM, THE SAME LOOK! I almost gave this movie a 2 just because of her, but that wouldn't be fair as that would mean it would get a lower rating than Apocalypse.
I almost don't want to watch a movie if she's in it anymore as I honestly can't take anything she does serious and it constantly ruins the moment for me.

If you're reading this Jennifer Lawrence, sorry but not sorry, but my vacuum cleaner can act better than you.

Lol, while I definitely didn't watch much of her movies (if any), she struck me as charismatic in her interviews, being quite down to earth. Maybe I need to watch more...

The 2nd movie from Jordan Peele. Was it as good as "Get Out"? No, but damn it was a great watch! Lupita Nyong'o was great as always. Loving this genre so much! It definitely has its flaws, but you'll keep on watching till the end.

Hey man, not yet - and I most likely won't be seeing it in the movie theaters. I'm done with that, unfortunately and my interest is next to nothing. Don't get me wrong, I still love movies and series; I've just watched Attack on Titan season 2 and 3 in 6 days, but I am so absolutely f*cking done with people not respecting going to the Movies anymore. Young and old; They talk, look on their phones, kick the seats in front of them, place their stinky feets on top of them, walk in and out all the time and even f*cking sing at times. I'm done with that and I don't want to be the "that guy" anymore. I've shushed on hundreds of people but it doesn't seem to matter. People are still doing it and because of that I haven't been to the Movies since... well, Endgame I don't think. Not sure when I'll be going again, hopefully when Dune is released in 2020, but I can't see myself spending anymore money in 2019 when it's always like this.

Damn man, that sucks! Can't you choose movies during the daytime when it's not that busy?
