My dog is pretty sick. He picked up a tick, and with ticks goes piroplasmosis. He's had them before, but it wasn't this serious. He's pretty weak now, I can see it in his eyes, let alone the fact he doesn't move much (though he was a bit better until this evening). Vet gave him 3 injections and removed the tick this morning, we'll see how it goes when I get up. Don't even need to say I'm already thinking about the worst.

Beautiful weather out there - must be mentioned.
I (used to) live in a small village with 3000-3500 people. When I come here on weekends, especially with the gorgeous weather out there, I expect some futsal. The problem is, from all those people in the village, we can't find at least 8 to play 4v4. I get it, some people just don't play football, some work, but c'mon people! Those who can just sit in their houses all day.
Other than this frustration, I've actually got drunk last night (wow, what a surprise!!; also had a bit of weed). I didn't drink much. I drank fast. And furious. 7.
Scotland had two sunny days last month where it reached highs of 12 so sadly we've probably seen the peak of our summer months. Hope y'all enjoy yours, though.

yes, and no...end of the audit filing deadlines with the SEC...I have about 20+ audit clients who have an April 30th deadline to file with the SEC...And none of them are close to being done...I'm working 80 hours a week about, not counting commuting time to make sure we release all of these audits in time...After April 30, I can have a normal life again and have a 40 hour work week

I have to say, as stressful as my job can be this time of year, I really do enjoy what I do. I like identifying problems and having to figure them out as I go along so it's never boring to me. Thank god I'm anwho's good at math, very thankful for that
