    What is your dream (In real life)?

    We all should have a dream or something to drive towards or aspire to. Big or small, it's healthy to have one and I think many people forget or loose sight as they get older...

    Mine is to go into outerspace and see the earth from below. We can somewhat do this now, I just have to earn enough money and hope the space industry is more commercially viable in the future (and before I'm too old).

    What's your dream?

    I don't aspire for much in life because i don't want to be overly disappointed in the event that I'm unable to achieve those goals/dreams so i always try to set targets within reasonable borders.

    Realistically, ill be happy enough to mature, marry, have children and operate a successful Surveying or Project Management company one day, or at a real push, see Celtic win the Champions League.

    I have already fulfilled majority of the dreams i have had, so i guess it comes down to helping my kid grow up and be as successful parent as i can be, finally some day produce a trance track and visit New Zealand.
    Other than that i think i have been very successful

    pretty simple and ordinary dreams - own my place, have a wife and kid, get married, own a Lexus, own a brand new car, visit some Caribbean Island. Those were bigger ones i wanted to achieve.

    Interesting topic! Indeed good to take some time and reflect on your dreams every now and then.

    I have many dreams that I am planning to fulfill. Big and small, easily over a hundred. Here are my biggest and most important ones:

    • Visiting New Zealand and touring all LotR/Hobbit locations is definitely one, planning to do that in a few years after getting my master's degree in Physics & Astronomy.
    • Writing my own novel. I don't care if it's published or not, or even whether other people will ever read it, as long as I have finished it. I already started with this, actually with multiple projects and I am very pleased with the progress I have made already. Recently I haven't really found the time to continue though. It may sound weird but I take so much pleasure in reading back some of the stuff I wrote myself.
    • Composing my own tunes. I have been working on a lot of melodies that I would classify under the 'soundtrack' genre, but it's all way too short. In my head it's a lot more clear, but considering I never had lessons or took the time to learn to play an instrument I just improvise a lot. Another dream is to one day be able to play the piano, which would help a lot with the other dream! And considering trance is so dear to me I'd like to one day create a trance tune I could be proud on. The reason I never tried is because all the software turns me off. I have made two DJ mixes in the past since that's a lot less daunting, I'd like to create a mix one day with my all time favourite music.
    • Create a film. As artistically and most importantly, true to myself, as possible. It won't have a plot, at least not in the traditional sense. It will be a testament to life and I will both film, score and write the film myself.
    • Live in the wilderness for a while (like a few days, or a week or something). Preferably on a beautiful, exotic, uninhabited island somewhere.
    • Grow my own Mescaline cactuses from seed and consume them after many years of growing. [work in progress, looking good so far!]
    • Drink Ayahuasca in the Amazonian rain forest.
    • Reach a constant state of enlightenment
    • Find the love of my life and spend our lives together
    • Reach old age and not turn into a bitter old man but instead be as lively and positive as I am now and be able to look back on a fulfilling life, hopefully with the friends & family that are the most dear to me.

    All of these are achievable! They just take time and the right mindset. Last one also needs a bit of luck.

    Space is a good one and also a dream of mine. But I must admit just fantasising or dreaming about it already gives me so much enjoyment that I wouldn't be that disappointed if I never actually got around to it, there are ways to do it of course but it is largely out of my hands. Best bet (and easiest route) would indeed be the rise of commercial space tourism. Otherwise, imagination and immersive films are a good substitute.

    Nice list you got there mate!

    Me personally, it would be to try peyote and also I would like to learn the piano and produce a nice track one day

    My biggest dream is to become a big name into the trance scene. I just wanna share my passion with the world, and I always loved to create things, so being a musician is my ideal lifestyle.

    Traveling? Of course! Anywhere where I won't get eaten or just killed. I want to climb mountains. I also want to travel alone (or better yet, with a special someone), across the country. So many beautiful places, historical sites... I want to visit them all. No hotel bookings, nothing. Just the car, money and luggage. Wherever the road takes me/us.
    Music? To make awesome music that'll touch people and to DJ to a crowd that will love my sets.
    Love life? To meet an awesome girl that I'll look forward to spending the rest of my life with. And to have a threesome (the good kind).
    Space/universe? I have no aspirations for traveling to space (I wouldn't object though), but I'd love to learn a lot more about it, and to have something like a Hubble telescope in my back yard. Kidding, any good telescope would do, just for stargazing purposes.
    General life? Just want to enjoy it more, stop procrastinating, do something with it. And yeah, money.
    Health/fitness? To get in an amazing shape, start a healthy diet and live a long, fulfilling life that I won't regret.
    Exotics? I'd like to own a Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 and a lot of other fast cars, and to drive them all fast on race tracks (by myself).
    Sports? Surfing attracts me a bit, I'd also love to play futsal or football for a club (but that train has passed since I'm 21). Martial arts definitely - especially BJJ and WC Kung Fu.

    Can't remember anything else. This is already too much.

    My biggest ones are to:
    - see my loved ones happy;
    - travel a lot: there are so many places I still want to go to, Canada, New Zealand, Hawaii to name a few. I also want to go to Japan again;
    - hike Via Alpina;
    - create a Japanese garden;
    - own a dog (German shepherd or Shiba Inu).
    Wrote a review of a trance release ?
    PM me and it might get posted on the frontpage

    You friendzoned me for Trance?
