Original MixEL-EL's Chilean favourites 3 Access & You with Ovnimoon are back, this time featuring fellow countryman Aerotek, and what a monster it is.The first four minutes are deep and hard, steadily whipping up a heavy 3am Goa vibe, before a break in the proverbial storm clouds give way to a melancholic old school trance riff, magical stuff. I wont ruin the surprise but the boys take the classy route and we're off to the races.
Peter Steele is on fire at the moment, with his recent releases on PURE TRANCE tearing up the speakers here at LOST LANGUAGE HQ. We simply had to get him on board ASAP so here he makes his LL debut with a stunning remix that uses the main riff to great affect, playing with the bass in just the right places, invoking those guttural responses synonymous with fans of the label.

Interesting remixer choice! I really loved Mantra, it reminded me of Solarstone's Blade Runner remix. Hopefully he did something similar to that sound with this one as well.
Ovnimoon seems to be at the top of the modern psy/goa trance. IMO his often full-on approach doesn't come close to the older generation of producers. His stuff ranges from average to ok/good at best.

Indeed he is. At least he's pushing a brand of psy that's quite far removed from the Neelix type "psy".
What then, do you think of a neo-goa production such as:
Though much closer to MWNN's Azymuth (or Psybient, or Downtempo Goa or however you want to brand it), I think it's a reasonable way to continue the Goa ethos, while at the same time modernizing it.

Okey-ish. Trying to copy the old sound but kind of ends up watered down and bit sluggish overall. Not bad though. I've never liked the typical "this is proper goa" track and as I've said before im not that into psy/goa so there you go. The typical goa trance track hasn't aged very well and the genre is kind of cheesy and weird if you really think about it. It sounds like a warped,twisted and weird type of 8-bit oriental sounding trance on steroids. It such a weird niche genre if you think about it.
Chi-A.D, Jaia and Blue Planet Corporation did some tracks that were good.
