The breakdown on that original is wonderful. The melody has a real feeling of nostalgia and it. Bitar's remix couldn't be any less innovative.

Fully agree. Oakie has been doing a lot of housey stuff lately so when this got played at Dreamstate, I was really impressed by the melody. Eddie took away the best part of the track so it gets a thumbs down from me.Originally Posted by Nangle

Not too impressed tbh. The Eddie Bitar remix (or at least this sample) gotta be a joke.
Reminds me a bit of Turn It On, definitely nice sounding. The remix is nothing to write home about.
Also, nice seeing them going back to the 90s / early 2000s design of the artwork.

Eddie Bitar's psy is just the ultimate joke. But it has nothing to do what Simon is playing either in live or in his radio shows.
Last year we had Da Doo Da Dah, so Oakenfold probably wants to keep the tradition alive.
Original is good (could have used a better buildup, but otherwise the breakdown, melody, and climax are excellent).

I'd be surprised to see someone call Patterson's Apex ¨Psy,¨ but strange things always happen!
The vocal sample before the break shouldn't be in there. Really breaks the flow IMO.
But that rhythmic gate tho - this is retro-modern trance done right
I agree with the general opinion. Original is very good, especially digging that lead. Bitar's remix, on the other hand, is boring as hell.
Remember when Eddie Bitar used to be good? Yeah, me neither.
Original is not bad, not mind blowing either.
