Cool tune by "Oakenfold". Remix not so much no lol.

Oakenfolds just doesnt do that much for me really, although it aint bad. Really needless sample and track name though.
P.s - that Bitar remix...I feel like you guys miss the point...or maybe get to caught up the fact it's not 'real' Psy-trance. I dont think guys like Neelix (who made a very good track recently), Interactive noise, Durs, Bitar etc are under any illusion that this style of genre is traditional or reflective of original goa/psy-trance. I dont think they claim this either. It's festival psy... never intending to be original or flow or innovate or creative (great production values though)... It's for standing barefoot in mud and jumping around not taking things seriously. Not all sets have to be musical pilgramages for the mind. When you have Psy-festivals with 90% playing banging, dark, forest and very intensly focused stuff, this can be refreshing and FUN. This is the other end of the scale. It's not great music, but it doesnt pretend to be. Song is not something I will ever rate, but it has to be taken in context.

Any idea what inspired Paul to do this kind of track? Haven't really been following Paul for a bit, but it seems he has been mainly doing future house stuff, and reworks of classics. In regards to mixes, is eddie bitar's mix the only one? Would like to see a Man With No Name remix.

His last trance release was Turn It On in 2013. He had a few tracks in the same vein on his Trance Mission album last year, but those were all classics remakes. I think he just felt it was time to make another original oldschool track. He's been doing a lot more Full On Fluoro sets lately so maybe that also explains it

The original is nice. Very trancy. The remix by Bitar is not good!

It has been many years since i liked a song by Paul.
This one i think it is very nice including some very good and nostalgic late 90's early 20's trance elements.
As for the remix by Eddie Bitar i agree with most of the comments above and i didn't like it either.
I hope to hear more new good music from Paul again soon...

Very nice! First track in a few months to really catch my attention. Nice job from Oakie! Given the previous comments, I won't bother listening to the remix.

Dont know what you guys are hearing but this is just a weak version of old Airwave tracks with that gated pad - the percs are really basic and theres not much power there. This couldve been done by a bedroom producer in a couple of hours and no one wouldve blinked. And whats with the vocal sample? Did he put that in for a joke...sounds ridiculous.

Wow.
Took me right back to 2000. This is an excellent job by Paul. I really respect his contribution to trance and this release is no different. I agree with Altair though the vocal sample doesn't belong there and ruins the flow. It kind of makes the track feel cheesy or cheapens it in a way. I wish it was a little longer too but that's my gripe with most 6-7min trance tracks produced these days. Otherwise it's a fantastic release!
