Awesome! I was listing 'BBE - Seven Days And One Week' and they work quite well together
It seems AOF really has no new ideas. The oldschool sound is ofc there and its good but there no exciting musical ideas. I dont care how pure or oldschool it sounds and that he's the only one doing it if there's nothing interesting musically.
Its OK.

The original sounds pretty boring based on the sample. He just relies on his old sound design which is good but there's no melody or interesting ideas in there.

Aw schticks, I voted Generic. Close enough.
It's a small sample of the original, can't judge it has "no melodies" based on that.
I'd hardly say Platipus or AOT have "run out of ideas" either. The Platipus sound is massively unique - it's what sets them apart from any other label. Infact they are the only label left now where you'd hear a track and instantly know it was on Platipus. Used to be the same with Xtravaganza etc etc and you'd just buy a track because it was on a label so you'd know it would be good - like Positiva for a while back in 96-2003, Manifesto, Inferno, Wonderboy, Incentive etc etc.
Don't have that anymore at all.
