i don't go to trance nights because trance went down the toilet and left a horrible skid mark... its zombie corpse getting hijacked by sell outs using marketing ploys. i'll go see house and techno djs all night however.

just because a person attends clubs on a regular basis doesn't make them knowledgeable about the music... at all. in fact the vast majority of attendees wont be into the music in a hardcore way. most of them will be casual numptees, some with delusions, such as your good self

A real trancehead is someone who listens to exclusively 99% trance and all its subgenres, and knows them with full knowledge. 1% is other EDM and trance-related genres.

When I said "you", I was referring to my initial standpoint and generalising, but you took it upon yourself to interpret that as you because I hit a nerve on your part.

It's not warped at all. Someone who actively and financially supports their pleasures is undoubtedly a bigger trance head and greater value to the scene than someone who is well read in the genre. Don't confuse knowledge with passion.
