I'm listening mostly to trance since early 90's without interruption and therefor think real trancehead just fits best.

It's not warped at all. Someone who actively and financially supports their pleasures is undoubtedly a bigger trance head and greater value to the scene than someone who is well read in the genre. Don't confuse knowledge with passion.
financial support makes you a genuine fan or something? you talk some shit friend.

and what is this nerve? i don't attend or "support" dance events or artists?!

the crap you probably support deserves to die off so real trance can flourish again. you're a hindrance to the scene... contrary to your belief.

It's clear comprehension isn't your forte. Financially supporting a cause of any sort, in the largest majority of cases, exhibits some sort of belief or passion towards it. I don't believe these sole characteristics to spawn what is being considered to be a trance head in this instance, but there is no doubt in my mind that they are the largest contributing factor towards what I believe in making one.

Spoken like the pretentious individual that you are there. It's people like yourself, who spend their futile lives, monotonously droning on about the "Good Ol' Day's" that are the true hindrances to the scene. Simply because I am more accepting of the current sound doesn't make you any better than me despite believing yourself to be the great magisterium of trance. Just listen to yourself!

financial support of a scene is the biggest contributing factor in making someone hardcore? that's a load of gash right there. is a broke trance head any less of a trance head just because they don't "support the scene"?!

the good old days in respect to trance are gone. i think no sane person would argue against that... but there is so much good current music i don't resort to listening to sub-par poor imitations of yesteryear's sound.

just look at the new gouryella's. no way they stand up to any of the originals.

Went for the third option. While I do love trance as much as before, the recent overload of generic tunes had put me off. I listen to a broad spectrum of electronic music, love experimental, house, techno, dnb genres very much. I like this variety of music I subject myself to lately.
If you are free in your dreams, then why don't you go to places you always wanted to go?

In comparison to the anachronistic's who tirelessly trawl YouTube and forums, constantly preaching about the Good Ol' Days despite never having experienced a live set or generally gave something back to the genre in their life... absolutely.

Let me clarify this for; I'm not claiming that people who regularly attend clubs and festival are the epitome of trance aficionados, but there is no doubt in my mind that they are greater assets, especially where artists are concerned and more deserving of the ‘trance head’ title than the aforementioned anachronistic hermits.
