For those who don't know, Distance Between Dreams is a Red Bull documentary about surfing (and surfer Ian Walsh), about to be premiered today... But that's not what's important here. The OST is. You all know Tom Holkenborg AKA Junkie XL, the composer of major Hollywood movies, and also as a brief trance/progressive producer. However, this caught my ears.
The previews I've heard so far are otherworldly. It's just amazing. I might even go as far as calling it a bit trancey.

Out now on Amazon and iTunes, as well as streaming services!
Instantly downloaded it on Deezer, can't wait to watch the documentary and listen to the soundtrack! Unfortunately, that's harder than it sounds...little time. :/
Mother of God... With Club Embrace, the biggest contender for the 'album' of the year. Tracks fit into electronic genre, there's even some breaks. The synthwork, and there's lots of synths there, is fucking incredible. I can already paint a picture of the scenes accompanied with the music (haven't watched the documentary yet). I like the kind of retro-ish vibes and sounds which are also present.
What a genius. No wonder he's working on the biggest movies in Hollywood.
