Better, but hampton still beats this, but the kick you've used sounds a bit low bit rate. It sounds a bit 'flat' the kick. Same with the hit hats/open and closed hats too. Not sure if you are using stock presets that come with protools which I think you are using? Sorry it's been a while since I played around with cubase fl studio and ableton. I don't think this is from ableton from memory which comes with better drum soundbanks than this.

I use Logic Pro - that track was made with the Activa percussion soundbank. So the whole composition was made with good quality instruments...

Then why does it sound so low bit rate then? Especially the drum loop? Activa's stuff is usually top notch.
