Will is a good producer, but I hate this kind of productions from him. Just like "Bloody Nora", it's like he throws random sounds and put them together and then call it a song.

That is an absolute monster of a track. I agree with the above to some extent in terms of would have liked to see how the HiGate style riff would have played out further but Will Atkinson is one of the most diverse producers in the entire scene. I'd rather have 20,000 Atkinson tracks over pretty much any other Trance producer right now.. maybe except Stoneface & Terminal.

Maybe not a trance tune in it's purest uplifting or progressive form, but I like the tech elements in this. Maybe I need to get used to it for some home listening, but I'd definitely take the opportunity and dance on it while meeting this tune on the dancefloor and go totally nuts..... and that's what it's made for

Wouldn't be surprised if he used "S.O. Project - Direct Dizko" as inspiration as well.

I dont know why i didnt notice this the first listen hehe. Will plays at so many gigs,he has the luxury of making these 'experimental' tracks and playing them out hours after making them - must be a great feeling.

I like it. It's a proper dancefloor tune and it doesn't sound random to me at all. Ten times better than Bloody Nora (which was very poor indeed) imo.

Da Hool influence is extremely noticeable in the main lead. I think this song is not as bad as Bloody Nora or his other industrial-ish tracks. This is a bit better suited for a dark room, where you play something with drive and techiness.

I'll repeat this over and over again though. This is exactly the type of stuff that should have been promoted under the Darkboy alias. The name lends itself well to this type of material.

I think producer aliases are out of the window now, look at MIKE & Airwave not using them anymore, they would rather build their main name up as the brands. Which is a shame,as i loved all the old alias styles..

Yeah the lead sounds like the meet her at the love parade by Da Hool. A set filler for me. Nothing more.

This is bad news, don't like it. Too much noise.

Yep, that's exactly how one-dimensional some parts of this scene are nowadays.

At the same time, there are soo many new artists nowadays who all try to build a name. I think it's more important to stay in the picture with one alter-ego than to create thousands and don't reach any publicity.

In the end, we all have a house that needs to be paid for, haven't we?

Well this is already miles ahead of both "Pat Butcher" and "Bloody Nora", because it actually has a melody (and a damn catchy one at that). His best industrial track since "Fresh Meat" IMO.

The idea of aliases has always been to allow artists to experiment without causing a backlash from fans. It also meant then you could expect a certain style when you say Lolo instead of Airwave or Planisphere. Will was off to a great start with his aliases but now I can't get hyped for any of his new material because I don't know which version of him will show up: the exciting one or the one that lets me down.

As you pointed out, the industry has driven artists to stick to one name due to brand awareness. This imo has a negative impact on originality and experimentation within the genre.
