The bottom line for me is simple. From Then On can't be compared to his works of art of yesteryear. However, for a trance album in 2017, I think it's better than what we've come to expect. I keep the faith that he can expand on some of the old-school ideas featured on the album as he goes forward, as those tracks are the best on the album (and I believe the general consensus is the same)
