Psy baselines are for the most part defined by sub-genre. Not much variation within each.

Melodic prog such as Protoculture is more generic, the beauty of this sub-genre is the added layers on top.
Psy-tech is all about baseline variations using the all to commercial sounds: triplets, offbeat, swing etc.
Full-On is all about exploding rolling baselines.
Goa usually has a stricking kick but it's subdued otherwise. The FXs and synth work is what really matters.
