Never heard of hagelslag before. So is it sugar flavoured sprinkles on toast? If I searched correctly....

Came up with a new 'recipe' to have my oatmeal a bit savory, instead of sweet, for breakfast.

So basically, I cook some frozen veggies (I use Mediterranean mix) with a tablespoon of oats and rice each - cook them all together - takes at most 15 minutes. I also fry 2 hot dogs (wieners) and 2 eggs. I'll start adding some low-fat, low-carb (cottage) cheese on the side as well.

Takes 20 minutes to make, almost none to prepare, it's full of protein and good carbs (although hot dogs are questionable), leaves you satiated and full for a long time and it tastes quite ok. I do prefer it to the sweet oatmeal, and by large!

Haha, well it's supposed to be healthy so I try to eat it as much as I can. Trying to combine healthy and tasty for optimal results.

The most important thing however is that your breakfast meal looks photogenic.

So dont forget to cut out that hole for the yolk to peak out from!!!
