    I want to listen to something that sounds like this - The official help & recommendations thread.

    Can we collect everything that has got to to with finding similar music and spot-on recommendations for us musicnerds/addicts here?

    Theres several tools around the web for this but alot of what I have used is only loosely connected, and its almost always only based on listening trends and loosely connected/similiar genres and not on the music itself.

    So I thought we could help out eachother here as best as we can.

    Allmusic.com have a pretty detailed and large database of music recommendations based on hundreds of genre/mood tags. Not sure what this is all based on but it is by far the most impressive work.

    Discogs is ok, could expand and evolve their recommendations imo.

    Spotify is sort of a mess. It works sometimes but its not always very accurate.

    Yeah. Lets see if anyone can dig up something like this. Its not like the typical hybrid/trancy breakbeat stuff.

    @Hensmon

    I guess what you're looking for is something i would describe as atmospheric progressive breaks. More on the slower side with the drums being more laidback. I wouldn't say there's many of this sort as i've been having a hard time discovering more of this stuff as well haha.

    Circulation - Limited #2 (1999)

    Luke Chable - Into The Storm (2004) - there is an ambient mix for this which is even better imo; i can't find it on YT but it's on Spotify

    Hensmons track is actually almost more reminiscent of older jungle/dnb tracks with some unicorn/mermaids/submarines etc on top in a breakbeat trancy/ambient manner. The typical proggressive breaks arent like that one.

    On top of my head at the moment we have ferrys in my dreams and gabriellas sky. Those has similar serene vibe but sure not THAT similar really.

    You also have the Inner peace version of solarstone the calling but still, its not on point, and the breeder underexposed mix.
