Cool stuff, but I can't really help unfortunately. Closest thing I could suggest is some smooth jazz stuff from the 80's, particularly from keyboard players, like David Benoit or Joe Sample. Sonny Rollins also has some african and world music influences in some of his stuff, but mostly it's very traditional older cool jazz (definitely great though). Is this some video game stuff? The sound palette seems to be from early 90's type sampler/rompler / computer music.

Tanks for the answer anyway. Its from a 2001 videogame which is pretty obscure. But the composer isnt. What is rompler ?

It's a plugin that plays pre-recorded, pre-fabricated audio samples. Romplers basically have no capability for creating original sounds (the notorious reFX Nexus is one of those).

Despite all the features that offers you to find similar music, I often fail finding something that I like and it seems im rather picky in what I like. It seems that im drawn to a particular type of aesthetics and instrumentation rather then a particular style. When I look at similiar artists i already like they often seem to just be in the assumed same "style", and I dont want something that sounds similar how contradictory that even may sounds. I want to find something that has the same qualites as the artists or album you already like, not something that sounds the same but lacks in quality.

Anyone has the same problem? It seems the more were being offered in terms of services helping us finding music we like, the less we actually find.

Sounds very video game-y. It would be hard to find something just like it with the same instruments, but it reminds me of the following:

Thank you, that is actually an excellent recommendation. Love it. I just wished sometimes there would be musicians making stuff like that, but without it being a soundtrack to a game or movie. Because often these little tunes tends to be short and not elaborated. Classsical composers seems to be too snobby to be making those more simple melodies and motivs. Its simply hard to find.

    I'm glad you like it!
Yeah, it's a shame that more of that mellow but catchy style is not really produced.
