Decent uplifting take on it. I always found Tiesto to be the most over rated producer even when "he" did make Trance.
The only decent tracks "he" made were Flight 643, Traffic, Suburban Train & the remix of Flesh.

Those happen to be the best tracks in the Tiesto project...

And you forget about Gouryella, Alibi, Kamaya Painters, Allure, Major League, Vimana... Was he in there just for company in the studio?

This track is nowhere near as good as the original.

643 and Traffic had huge impact but as a track they dont have that much to do with trance as a genre

Gouryella was mainly Ferry lets be honest. Tiesto might have inputted a bit to Gouryella but everything after was Ferry.
Forgot about Kamaya Painters - endless wave is an all time classic.

But all the others. Meh. Never rated them. And never rated the "Tiesto" productions aside from the ones I mentioned.

You dont like tracks such as Magik Journey, Just Be, Forever Today and his Silence remix?

I actually rate Traffic and 643 among his weakest trance tunes.

Nope. I also never rated him as a DJ either. His set at Global 2004 would have been totally forgettable if it wasn't for dropping ATN - Miss A Day right near the end... and his remix of Adagio although I can't stand that either, just gave me chills hearing so many chant 'Tiesto' over & over.

Silence remix is the most over played / over rated Trance track of all time along with Armin's In & Out of Love.

    Yes of course.

Silence is not overrated in my opinion and as far as Just Be concerned: Antillas club mix is so much better. Magik Journey is well, decent. Forever today is very good, but I don't like how it is cut up in a classical and a trance part. And let's not forget about Lethal Industry, Nyana, Love Comes Again, THeme from Norefjell, Sparkles, In my Memory... And the list goes on. All of his tracks are pretty unique as well: no template tracks here. (Whereas all the others just used a template for their productions/remixes: Ferry, Armin, Airwave, Airscape etc.). Also what I like in Tiesto are the little intermezzos/peculiarities he puts in his tracks. Example: 0:14-0:15 in Adagio for Strings.

Also, the RAW synths he uses in this tracks starting 1:13 those are what really makes this track stand out as compared for example the Ferry Corsten remix. Although that one is indeed good, its in fact just the classical piece + Ferry template. Technically speaking, most of Tiesto's tracks have that little extra technical surprise. Just my opinion. I mean, for example, how Lethal Industry starts: that's just inventive and full of character

    And then this at 5:30

    You call that 'meh'

All im trying to say is that Tiesto shouldn't be underrated. I don't care whether it's Tijs Verwest alone or in companion.
