John 00 Fleming - Looking Back. To Look Forward. (incl. Morttagua, Ziger Remixes) [JOOF Recordings]

    Download/Listen at Beatport (3rd December 2018):

    Available on Other Stores: 17th December 2018 | JOOF295

Label Boss John 00 Fleming has been on fire lately, He's been a leader and innovator in the scene for over 30 years, and Looking Back. To Look Forward. conceptualises his wisdom and his experience. A ground-stomping groove, a riveting eastern-melody, and haunting vocals are delicately woven into this track with the sole purposes of making the dance floor stomp their feet, this is monitor-shaking, edge-of-your seat music.

Here’s a snippet of my new single thats released next week…. let me tell you a little story about this.
    ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In life its important to keep looking back, to enable you to to look forward, the well know phrase ‘history repeats itself’ certainly falls true when it comes to music. There’s many parts of the Trance world that I dearly miss, especially within the underground spectrum as this is where my roots firmly lay.

In the early days of my career I was signed to React records that ran parallel with the worlds of Platipus, HOOK, Bell boy, Whoop! records etc. This was my world of dark, Progressive, driving, melodic intelligent forward thinking Trance music, and there’s currently a big void missing today.
    ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I looked back at those wonderful days and got inspiration to write this track hence the name. Its not a hands in the air big room festival banger, nor a Beatport chart topping anthem, its simply heads down driving tool aimed for those dark underground clubs and festivals to create a magical hypnotic moment. A dance floor friendly track.

The tracks are extremely loud and too harsh and abrasive. Breakdown is about the only good thing.

    I agree

Joof recordings has always been an impressive label.

By the way Mr Enlusions, your remix of Narel - Circle Sky, absolutely BLEW me away!

If you guys have not heard this track yet.. your missing out!

Would be great to see some more collaborations with Slam Duck, Narel & a collaboration with Gordey Tsukanov would be amazing!

wow that remix of Circle Sky was made almost one year ago, Nick asked me to choose the track from him album and Circle Sky was my fav, he's a good lad, really like his musical touch, go check out his remix of Alfonso Muchacho - Darkosaur, It's absolutely wicked.

As for the collabs Slam Duck is quite busy at the moment, we're planning to make a progressive breaks track together with Narel.
As for my good friend Gordey, maybe this year we will make a dark progressive trance tune together, his music inspires me alot, just like Cosmithex for example.

    Thanks for the nice words!
