Temple One is ht KING of modern melodic/uplifiting trance. 100 miles ahead of Cold Blue that everybody praise on trancit.

Here, with this track, i hear its less loud on the kick, which is nice, and has a nice clear bass. The mainpluck isnt his greatest, but good nonthenless. The piano fill is nice at the the end of the clip.

Kick, hat and baseline was instant love for me. Temple One is on fire. Love to collab with him and Stoneface & Terminal. Will be buying this instantly.

Its a 'pleasant' track..his usual plucky style. Morning Trance.

Daysleeper - please dont make a morning/lunch/evening Trance thread haha.

I think this is slightly below his usual high standards. The production itself is improved here, punchy without being overpowering. The melody i find rather generic unfortunately, and sounds similar to this DK track on Anjuna.

I call it the two chord plucky melody which had been used on so many tracks - and a lot of producers rely on it to create a melody - they just change the chords around a bit. Some are done better than others. Theres a YT vid somewhere comparing about 20 Trance tracks with the same melody, but i cant find it right now.

Heres one (and one of the better ones)

I call it the ABAB melody ;p.

It's not so much the type of melody that is the problem, but rather the chord progression which isn't particularly natural or smooth here.

L'acrobat still stands out for me, such a beauty. I think most trance producers at least once made a track with the abab melody. It just works.

This sound very familiar to me temple one certainly ripped off some of Suncatcher track which i dont remember the name of track right now.

Besides the melody reminde me of this track from pure trance compilation :
