I prefer the melody in the first part of the track...but yeah I agree that sometimes a sudden swith to a different melody might be fun, MIKE did it a few times already...but well, in this case I dont like the change too much...but I guess this is some kind of edit tho...

Two possible reasons? Young audiance and their short attention span? Or maybe affraid for the clip being ripped (and thus not bought)?
It's the thing nowadays, Radio Edits have become Original Mixes and Original Mixes have become Extended Mixes. Radio Edits often do well and its technically people want to listen too. Most labels also now put these Extended Mixes exclusive to Beatport for either a month (like what Armada do) or Permenately (Enhanced Main Label and Several Black Hole Sublabels). I prefer the long edits too though, you get to hear more of the Track and it sounds much better imo
    Exciting Releases:
    Karanda - Supreme
Rodrigo Deem - Divo / Totem
    Codeko - Crusader
    Las Salinas - Winston
Solis & Sean Truby - Armadillo
    Slim Colt - Livi
    Signal Space - Sharik

Yeah i suppose its what you would expect in this instant, streaming age. But it goes against the ethics of creating a full Trance track imo.

Pretty sure that cut at the end of the sample is a glitch, it makes no sense, Mike has had his bad tracks but I don't think he's as bad as to think that sounds good. It seems like a wrong copy paste or something.

The first part is the classic push sound. After that changes drastically and i don't know why.

The final version is slightly different, the melody from the first part plays longer after the drop...but the transition to the new melody is still quite weird

The full version is a lot better than that sample. The change is much less sudden, makes more sense now.

Finally a good kick too. Most of his recent productions sound hollow. This one is just perfect to me.

Really lacks energy. The melody/transition thing is better, the first melody is pretty good.

So I was right, what do I win?

I do agree with Gagi about the energy. The beat, bass, percs, and even the synth of the first melody, they all sound slightly ‘thin’. Could have been a bit more ‘phat’. Still lovely track anyway.

it's better than most of the current releases, still way under the Push's own quality bar. It's the bar he probably will not reach again.
