Actually he was speaking about this label more than 1 year now. If i remembered correctly he spoke to an interview in 1 of the ASOT episodes.
Anyways unnecessary and the tune is not the type of trance i like. I'm looking forward on his Solo album on VII this week although.

No offense taken at all. I just don't see the point in starting new labels when there are so many out there already. The whole point used to be to get a track signed to a particular label because of the prestiege it brought and it was a sign of quality. That doesn't exist anymore beacuse the market is so ridiculously saturated.

Plus Simon had Night Vision - why not just carry on with that & change the direction if needed?!

Anyway - Bjorn's a fine one to talk - followed Armin and stopped producing / supporting uplifting years back then tried to suck up tweeting "OMG it's the new uplifting" before Armin replied "except I fell in love with the real uplifting all over again". Then oh look Bjorn's producing uplifting again.. just saying..

    Get it here: https://dit.choons.at/blink

The absolute king of heart grabbing emotional melodies Simon Patterson teams up once again with Lucy Pullin to create yet another timeless hit in the form of Blink. Co-written with genius songwriter Dave Wright this truly perfect song follows in the footsteps of the trio's previous hit collaborations - Now I Can Breathe Again, The One and Fall For You. Another exceptional anthem from Simon Patterson that will surely be one of the key tracks through festival seasons this Summer and a truly perfect way to kick off the new label.

    Decent.

VII's sister label for vocal trance. More materials coming from John Askew, Will Atkinson, Sean Tyas, Greg Downey, Activa, David Forbes, Alex Di Stefano and other close friends.

We are looking to find gifted singers, songwriters, producers, bands that are making high quality emotionally charged music and writing engaging, thought provoking lyrics that we can sign and bring into this new collective.

Trance, breaks, progressive, downtempo.....if it makes the hairs stand up, the heart beat faster and the mind loose itself Deep In Thought....we want to hear it.

I'm sure they have valid reasons for it. Does it really affect you that much?!

Askew better not start making vocal trance. Looking forward to potential Bostock releases on here, since he always does vocal trance perfectly.

As for Night Vision, Spinnin' has the rights to the label and they will not revive anything trance related, nor grant the rights to someone else.

As for the track itself, Simon went with a lot of oldschool elements in the melody which I like, but the baseline simply doesn't work in combination.

I’m starting to reconsidering my fist comment….. The intro and end are pretty decent as he normally does with almost all his vocal tunes.
