    DT8 Project - Cycles [Anjunabeats]

Pretty damn good one for Anjunabeats. A bit more in line with the Anjuna evolution I expected instead of mega-farts.

Really really really nice. This is what the modern Anjuna sound should be. Putting the melodies back at the forefront.

This is absolutely spot on in terms of style for current Anjunabeats. Bit more of a progressive sounding track compared to some of his latest releases, but still very nice!!

If only Anjunabeats had switched to that style in 2011...
It took them that long for another Trance release.

Great track. I'm surprised it's not some lame Big Room release. Most comebacks are exactly like that, this one proves otherwise.

Just heard it in full. Reminds me a bit of BT's Skylarking and Armin's & Arty's Nehalennia. It's a bit 'harder' like Nehalennia (as opposed to Skylarking), but has melodies more akin to Skylarking without sounding a lot like either. It's pretty great. Would like some more of this.

I believe it's OUT in all stores and streaming services.

Yes it is, I tagged it OUT but it only appears in the small title at the top and not the one on the post.

    Will edit OP with links.

Just me who think this its more meh than yay? Im not so much of a fan of this snappy beatwork. Also I dont get too much impression from this sample what type of track this is. It just doesnt give away that much...

Not to say that I think that its bad...

    Edit: listening to extended now...

Yeah, still find a bit lackluster, but I'd give it a 6.5/10...and also nice for anjuna...

Again a solid release by Darren. I am still drooling over 'Particles' which is already a true 'classic' in my book. Thanks, for this kind of music!

Very nice release. The label suprised me. Hope they will come back with more of this sort of releases.

Unfortunately I would see this release as more of an outlier than anything. Doubt Anjuna will keep releasing these more progressive tunes.

I can skip that label, like I did the last couple of years in that case. Darren Tate is releasing amazing tracks, that' s gold.

Not "fun" enough for Anjuna. In a bad way

After a couple more listens I'd raise my daysleeper rating score to a 7/10, but I just dont find it that memorable or hugely inspirational plus not a big fan of this more "dry" "snappy" type of beat/production style. Need more reverb to make it wet. Still a enjoyable listen in several aspects.
