My only guess is that it sounded too 'muddy' with the additional bassline elements, but then again this is Ferry we are talking about..a master producer hehe.

Overall though the track is very good - the huge warm pads in the breakdown and then the distorted ones later give the original Gouryella vibes - plus i love how he used that old skool reverse cymbal FX which is in Veracocha etc.

I really enjoy it! The track is as I would expect from Gouryella.
Stands up to the quality of other modern Gouryella releases.

Listening carefully to the full ver. , the intro is awesome a beautiful piece of hard work and much higher than 99% of the productions on the recent days. Still I like more Neba and Anahera of the recently Gouryella works but this is growing to me and it is definitely 1 of the top productions this year.
Ferry did it again after a long wait...!! Now let’s see if Armin can share some quality productions with his Gaia album later this year
    Current Top 5!!!!

Atleast it does bring people in speaking their minds, which itself is pretty encouraging to see

Listened this track various times now. The melody really sticks and the breakdown is beautiful, still making it one of my favorite tracks this year so far.

But the straightforward beatwork/drum work (very simplistic drum patterns and samples) and lacking bassline are really pulling it away from absolute greatness. I would almost say it needs a rework by someone else just redoing the bottom end and beatwork.

Is that a challenge to yourself?

After giving it a couple of listens I really love it.
It is not the best Gouryella track.... But Ferry did make a great track of it that stands out from the average trance release

    Hmm..

The build-up plucks don't really do much. In some of his tracks they are really energetic, like in Anahera. In here, very basic. They don't stand out.

The orchestral part is nice. But I think the melody doesn't really tell an intense story. It's nice, it's in key, but the story it tells, isn't one we will remember for another 10 years.

Do agree with the bassline comments. Could use a famous gouryella-gouryella bassline to fill up the mid-bass section.

The clap also needs a bit more high-end punch. Louder.

A track with potential. Hope he is still working on it...

    its already released haha.

That brings me to another point..how short is the gap nowadays between the premiere in a club and an actual digital release?!

You used to have to wait months before you could get your hands on a track a you heard a DJ play out - the mystery has gone!

Some tracks are out quite rapidly...
Others take months or longer then a year!

For example: I am still waiting for the ID of a track that Chris Schweizer and Heatbeat played in Utrecht at ASOT 2018
