You know sophisticated classy melodic trance, that doesn't have to blow the club off, but it's still extremely melodic and atmospheric. It seems these days it's either hard aggressive club trance, or boring nothing happens 1-2 chord progressive (= house), and nothing between it.

Have you checked out Breakfast's recent works (esp. after his return)? I think his tracks are hard to put into any subgenre, you can only call it 'trance' (which has been missing since 99.9% of the stuff today is very defined). Maybe not future classics or rocking classy melodies such as the classics you mentioned, but a sign of hope? For me, yeah.

Yeah sounds very much like vintage Antiloop, mixed with the U96 - Das Boot chords/melody.

I think the title is cheesy as hell, and the JP supersaw lead is compressed and effected so much that it might as well be Spire as the instrument. Otherwise the track is alright, although it's a little too hard and pumping for my taste.
Nad exactly same reaction. Its cool track, but way too similar to what you described
