Sweet sounding track. I can mostly hear Darren Tate's signature here, which is a good thing

Interesting track, really wanted to listen the whole thing from start to finish. The structure, synthwork is refreshing. Darren Tate + Kandi becomes a bit Thrillseekers/Hydra-ish.

I think the compression/limiting especially during the climax is too much though. Track loses room to breath there, especially the drumwork is pushed away.

    Damn. This is great!

The mastering isn't too bad. Was expecting a wall of sound after vastvisions reply. But it's not that much of an issue. I like how this track has the high piano-ish notes as most prominent instrument. And not a sledgehammer-kick as we would say here on Trancefix.

Very dreamy track. Really like it!

I expected more. Melody is very forgettable imo.

Yeah the melody is forgettable, and the way the synth are done in it sounds quite amateurish....expected so much more from Darren Tate - surely he has so many great melodies that he didnt use back in the day! It just feels that he has lost the inspiration in the last decade or so - theres no magic in his stuff anymore.

The climax is a bit soft (but still ok), while the breakdown is just pure magic. I like this!

Breakdown has the vibe of former Darren Tate, but I also agree with most here that it's not up to par of what both of these guys can produce musically, really tame and simple, dare I say amateurish, climax. Although the breakbeat portion is really great I find (I am a sucker for breaks though). Production quality is great as well.

Listen to Elephant,Let The Light Shine In,Venus,Echoes,Nocturnal Creatures,Eternity - the real Tate magic is in there. Theres no magic here, this track isnt even on the same planet as them. I think nowadays we just tend to settle for mediocre and end up calling it a great track.

Really? I thought Cycles was inspired. I also loved The Edge and Timeless.
