his last good album was In Between, none of the further LPs has never impressed me neither musically nor technically. i guess his career is just not about the music production anymore, like with lots of 'legends'

It's no wonder that PvD releases a new album almost every year when 95% of it is about collaborations

Why so many collabs? Im so intriugued how they work and how much production PvD (or his engineer) put in.

It's great that "Awakening" is getting a release, Willie has been playing it for a very long time (since Mainline 003 to be exact), but I hear nothing from PVD in it. I was hoping for a new track by these two with fused elements, not 100% Willie (even if I love the track). Are we sure this is the real collab?

Actually, after some searching, this is Edge of Forever, correctly ID'ed by Atkinson in VII Radio 034. The track before this one, that starts at 1:12:20 is 100% PVD though so I think whoever did the tracklist mixed the tracks up @Akreem

I also miss the old days of mainly PVD tracks. What made OTAB and Reflections so great was not only that it was an artist album, but that Paul showcased a lot of variety. You had ambient, breaks, progressive, and energetic compositions in both albums, yet you knew straight away it was Paul. Most of the new collabs are OK at best. They work great on the dancefloor, but they don't provide the same listening experience as his past work. I do like Duality quite a bit actually and going from past releases, his tracks with Vincent Corver, Sue McLaren and Chris Bekker should be excellent.

The Atkinson collab also sounds quite good, but I need a higher quality sample. The melody reminds me of Evolution stuff, particularly Verano
