    Zombie Nation - Kernkraft 400 [1999]

I was surprised to find that the classics section didn't already have this track, and there wasn't ever much talk about it on this forum.
Here's the track that has been chanted at sports stadiums across the world. Its style is a bit different from the anthem trance of its era, as it's based off the melody from a 1980s Commodore 64 video game. However, this track appeared in the first volume of ASOT classics, so it does belong on this forum.

    DJ Gius Remix

A bit of background story behind this track, if you have 15 min to spare:

Didnt know it was sampled from a video game, cool.

For me this is ‘trance’ like DJ Sammy, Sash, Dj Jurgen, Darude, and Storm - Time to Burn. Thats not negative though. Its music I really like, but I see it more as ‘dance’. The popular dance scene took a lot of trance elements in 1999-2002, as trance was the leading electronic genre.

It was never supposed to be called Trance

Zombie Nation is a Electro Clash artist, Dj Gius was a Hard House project of Technoboy

It probably wasn't meant to be a trance production, but it ended up being considered as such.
