soccer is almost totally unwatched here in the USA..... i don't know why he's getting that much money to come here. there is no market here. i guess the games he plays in will be televised out of the country..

I thought really funny the owner of one mansion in L.A. refuse the propose of Beckham and Victoria...
So now they are negociating the possibility of buying Madonna's L.A. Mansion... with Sotheby’s International Realty (the same of People&Arts show) in order to avoid the episode

    Cheers!

I think a few people here in the US will tune in and get bored and go back to not watching soccer. I'm not even close to being a sports fan, so maybe I'm wrong.. I just don't get the sport really.

I think the move is an attempt to popularize real football for a nation that doesn't get it. It's not violent enough like the sport that's hardly played by foot yet named as such. It's also not stagnant enough to pig out on fatty foods while watching the grass grow and doped men flex their asses and chew tobaco. And it's not comercial enough to stop every minute to watch 30 seconds of non creative loud commercials for junk products. The only way to enter this potatoheads is through hollywood, and Bekham...being the spice boy figure that he is...is the right man for the mission.

i don't think americans wanted another rugby league. real football is growing...just don't go fetching another excellent rabbi article about why it's called football and not woosy rugby with pads and helmets.
