World/ethnic music

This one definitely rewards the patient. What a song!!!

This one is also very very good.

One of my favourite discoveries of the past few years.

Something Southeast-Serbian. The singer and the main instrumentalist is just lovely. Wonderful voice, great melody and just overall a lovely song. It's about dying villages deep in one of the Serbian mountains (my favourite!) - it sings about a young man, but as the years pass he was not able to find love in his village because it's empty. It's a combination of Southeast-Serbian/Bulgarian/Macedonian and overall just music from the start of the 20th century, sung in a specific regional dialect.

[Progrez]

Armenian music featuring the Duduk. It's not AI it's created by this artist.

[Archon]

One of the most unexpected discoveries. Serbian ethnic music legend in a dance arrangement.

I don't know if it's just the impact that this has had on me yesterday and at this moment, but damn, how do you listen to this and then listen to trance in the same day? It's just impossible.

There are three different movements, and it's just incredible to hear how they all evolve into really powerful, moving climaxes. Wonderful work by Kayhan Kalhor.

I have seen Kayhan Kalhor live ... it was a deeply immersive experience, a wonderful concert ...
