This is one of the many tunes that was featured in MFS Berliner – a trance documentary from 1993 showing the early days of the genre with key figures such as Paul Van Dyk, Mark Reeder, and Laurent Garnier. The remixer behind this version is none other than Paul Van Dyk, and despite some of his early hits like For An Angel, A Love Letter, and his remix of Love Stimulation (also featured in the documentary), I still think this one hits the hardest and is the most interesting record out of all.

It is a nine minute long journey that puts you through a wide range of (admittedly opposing) emotions, as the track is mainly driven by two melodies: one that is somber, sorrowful, and bitter, and one (the part used in the documentary) that is upbeat, hopeful, joyful, and optimistic. This kinda makes me wonder why the remix wasn't named as World In Confusion or World In Chaos instead of World In Order.

another fantastic share, imo this is one of Paul's best remixes ever!

there was also another version from him on the CD version, called 'New World Order Mix', maybe this one was made for the radio and compilations:

I can absolutely agree with this sentiment. TBH, I don't really know why his Humate mix turned out to be such a big hit and a cult classic, while this one became quite forgotten. This one resonates with me way more, it's more trancey, more energetic, and is full of emotions.
