I very much doubt someone planned an attack purely out of spite that he didn’t spin the right music, and/or the fact that Steele is somewhat successful in a very small scene m8 . Don’t get me wrong, the man’s music is ace but he is hardly Tiësto or even Solarstone in terms of popularity/success.

Speculating heavily here but this looks to me much more like something out of a love/ ex girlfriend vendetta.

I have to give my two cents about this .

Having bleach poured onto his clothes and his passport ripped apart... That's not a normal burglary, that is quite clearly a targeted personal attack, carried out by someone who's familiar with Peter... Also, judging from how the attack seems to be focused around Peter's music and DJ equipment, AND personal documents, the person is likely coming from the Trance scene.

Else, for whom would it matter, Trance producers are not pop stars.

Trance is not popular. Peter's success mattered to the attacker, so the guy must be familiar with the Trance producer/DJ scene...

Even more important, than the donations, is to find the person who did it and make them pay for it.
High chances that the guy isn't living far from Peter's house.


Edit: Pouring bleach onto one's clothes sounds like something a woman would do.

In short, it was a targeted attack, but not on Pete, only that he was caught in the cross fire with it sadly. He lives in a house that he rents from a landlord.

Forensics have been done and there is an individual in sight I believe.
But I won't say more as it's not my place to divulge the finer details.

Yeah the reason for this was I knew that Luminosity would have to either draft a replacement or extend the schedule of DJs for the day. Instead I offered them to cover his set and play a Peter Steel set. After all I was going to be there anyway and people who wanted to hear Pete's tunes still get to hear it. They get Stealey instead of Steel

still horrible but collatoral damage at the very least would prevent this from happening again/ there isn't a personal grudge against him going.
