Aquarius - Whispers [Pure Progressive]

[skyriderz]

Jakub Król (a.k.a. Aquarius) is a young producer from Poland who is one of the rising stars of the Pure family. He returns with his 5th release. A chugging, arpeggiated groove, filmic spoken samples, hypnotic drone and melodic sprinkles thrusts this state-of-the-art production across the line.

Another quality release on Pure Progressive.

Lovely tune

Been enjoying this one over the last few weeks. He's had some really nice releases overall

I’m so proud of this guy, right @Electronlyman?

Absolutely!

You know the story, but most others here probably don't.

So I do a little write up here.

I will never forget when I first heard his cover of Aero back in 2022. I thought, what a classy interpretation of JMJ's hit.
I instantly knew that tune was just too good to not get a proper release, since at the time it was unsigned.

To my big surprise, it turned out he's a 16 year old producer from my country. I really did not expect that the person who had made this track could be that young.

He was the first artist (and so far the only one) I stumbled upon, that made me go WOW.

I thought that track, that style, especially at the time would be a perfect fit on PT.
So I wrote a mail to Rich and the rest was history.

Later through our talks, Jakub said his dad is a big EL music fan and he already knew my YT channel. Quite amazing that he found me, since I had what, 500 subs at the time.

Stories like this is when you know something was meant to be, you're getting through to exactly the audience you target.
Those are the goosebump moments.

The Electronlyman project is going since about 2008,
I started it to support talented producers that create the music I love.
To help those talented guys get some more exposure.
All it is, are basically simple YouTube uploads of usually unsigned tracks.
Later I've added other social media to that.
My YT channel doesn't collaborate with other YouTubers or labels, so the exposure is small.

Aquarius he used to be the youngest one in Pure Trance, but now I am so proud to say that the youngest now might be my Chinese friends. My friends Ishiro @Ishiro and KARMI_, they are still in high school. Rich mentioned Ishiro and Aquarius in the same sentence in his fan Q&A, saying 'my favourite Chinese producer' and 'Polish wunderkind'.

Ishiro also told me that there are many tracks upcoming in Pure Trance.

Back to this track, I like it too, he is developing his style now, the loops can easily be recognized that it's a Aquarius work. The young generation works seem to have some difference feelings and I am looking forward to see more from them all over the world on Pure Trance.

[Daysleeper]

Its OK. Spunds like the usual kinda melodic proghouse witht that 80s vibe. Doesnt stick out that much to me

So cool there's a Trance scene in China as well.
I wish them the best!

Exciting times
