Why so much importance on if the music is original or different than before? If the best Super 8 & Tab, Sunny Lax or Kandi track from 2005/6 was dropped right now would we ignore or burn it just because it sounds like something we heard a lot before in the past????? No dudes, we would love it.
I'm not usually very active on this forum (considering comments, posting music, etc.), but I must say that I totally agree with You on this reply. I also agree that most of the track nowadays are maybe a little bit lazy produced and everybody is chasing quantity over quality, but I'm sure everybody can find something for their ears. And that constant hate toward some of the producers is just sickening, people need to understand that music and sound evolves and producers tend to chase modern sound with every year. I cannot imagine producing same fucking shit I did 10-15 years ago. Everybody here is bashing steroid trance, kicks overly compressed...blah blah...But when, for example, 'Airport' by Photographer was released, everybody loosed their mind. Because, let's get it real - track is great, but the real problem was the time when everybody tried to copy him. As You said, let's take a good Kandi track (Child, Nova, Make Me Believe) - if it would be released today, I'm sure community would start spitting on it aswell. "Booring, heard it before, those f*cking plucks, too long, too short, blabla" Enjoy the music, and listen what You like.
