Super-Frog Saves Tokyo - Clarion [Electronic Architecture]

This sounds really cool. Need to hear the full track uninterrupted to judge how it flows. We need more of this kind of trance.

Tracks in the style of Sasha - Xpander

This has similarities to Xpander and was probably inspired by it. However it's an amazing tune in its own right and I prefer it out of the two.

    Classic Trance Historical Breakdown [1987-2007]

Oh come on. I respect your opinion but one of the lines is There's a coldness in the air, yeah but I don't care. The entire vocal is sung with such an attitude that's usually reserved for pop records. It's trying so hard to sound 'cool'. Combined, the content of the lyrics and the attitude make...

    Classic Trance Historical Breakdown [1987-2007]

I'd say you have to separate 1999 from 2000 and 2001 and give it a section of its own. It was very different from those two years. You'd hear amazing things every single week because there was so much good trance released. 96-98 period is a good summary but Ferry and Armin were fairly...

JOOF's essential mix is closer to Sandstorm's release date than today

Nice one, thanks for posting the 2001 mix as well. Refreshes my memory of it. I prefer the 2000 mix. I really think it's something special. The overall vibe, tempo and track selection are more coherent than in 2001. Great selection of underground tracks, dark mood and enough melodic parts to...

    Firewall - Reflections/Touched (2001)

Well... what can I say... I'd never heard Reflections or Touched up to now. Listening now and Reflections is a stone cold classic, one of Lange's best productions. Important to note he was still using analog gear at this point so it has that warm classic sound. And what a melody. I know by 2003...

    O.H.M - Entropy EP [1995]

Wow this is so good... Early - mid 90s trance, so unstructured, raw and organic sounding. It gets more formulaic towards the end of the 90s but musically it remained very good and enjoyable. Unfortunately at a certain point in the 2000s it becomes unbearably generic and musically awful.

The Jim Prophet Experience - Androids (Flying In The Space Mix) [1999]

What a stunner. You've posted a lot of obscure old tracks that I've not heard. Planetary Consciousness was a quality deep/prog trance label so not surprised this is good.

    Ra - The Curse [1998]

This is really nice. Obscure, vinyl only release. Maybe Larry Lush, AKA Quietman can make it available digitally as he's already released a lot of his old stuff on Bandcamp...

Jon The Dentist Presents Underground Cyber Movement – Volume 5 [1998]

Nice little banger, hadn't heard it before. JTD is an underrated producer.

    Sean Dexter Synthetica (1999)

Yeah Synthetica is pretty awesome, even if it is repetitive. I wonder if it is inspired by Universal Nation at all. Nice 'Yeah' shout too.

Rare tracks not found in download stores

That's not even the full version. Get the full and possibly remastered version on Juno. Just labelled as Spaceman but it is the trance mix.

    Fictivision - Outpost [2003]

Really nice tech trance. Not heard this before.

    Hoopoe - Aryaduta [Hedjog Records]

Finally someone makes proper trance again. Trance that has a story, point and goes somewhere. Love the multi layered bass line. The kick is not robotic and actually enhances the track, unlike 99% of releases. The track has room to breathe and is not over compressed garbage. The individual...
