OUT Alpha 9 (Arty) - New Horizons (Artist album) [Anjunabeats]

Great to see artists albums. This is Arty as Alpha 9. Some very interesting sounds and atmospheres in this album. Melody is fair. Emotion is very present with mostly a very accessible feel (which not everyone will like but i think has an important place) Some pleasant relaxing sounds. A few quite raw sounds. Great production techniques as to be expected. Some good vocals but sometimes become a little too samey. Haven’t listened to all of it in full but so far im going with an around 80 out of 100 score wise.
That may change when I’ve heard it all.

liking it, arty/alpha 9 is one of those "new" artists with a distinct sound that I can appriciate.

probably wont by the cd version though..

I like some of his older tunes that I come bak to now and then, “Bliss”, “Afterlife” to name a few, but I find myself not enjoying anything he’s put out lately.

Got really excited for some reason when I heard about this album about a month ago, after listening to it on release I definitely wasn't disappointed either. Very well done by Arty, can't wait to hear more like this from him.
