I've been wanting to post this for a while, so I guess I'll just go ahead and do it. Ashley Carr (known as DJ Redlight) was my favorite electronic musician. He created mostly trance and trance-like work on his website, www.djredlight.com, which was, and still is, free to download. I assume he was trying to build a fanbase this way. He's made some great songs, particularly Raindrops, The Gift, and his remix of Waiting for Romero to Play. He even remixed a song that appeared on Beatport.
Thing is, he died in 2016 of a sudden medical issue, right as he was trying to find a producer for his first album. Honestly, every time I have a favorite musician, they die young (I mean this quite literally -- they died every single time), so I just don't have favorites anymore. But at the very least, I want to share his stuff. I recommend going to his website for the downloads, but here's some of his best works.
