it has some annoying bits but it does sound 2024 version of 2002 ferry corsten the vocals are annoying and that repeating sirenish sound i don't like

I understand what could made it - on ASOT episodes (as far I remember) it was showed as Ben Hemsley x Ferry Corsten - Tidal, simply confusing

Yeah, I was a bit confused at first too, I even though that maybe Ferry had a part in the original as well? Seemed like the type of stuff he'd produce back in the old days.
But since Ben Hemsley actually uploaded a video going through the track's production, I see he understands and is passionate about music production.


BTW, y'all should stay tuned, he's eventually going to update the release to feature a JP8080 instead of Spire for the supersaw. He was on short on time and took the VST as a shortcut.

As I understand it, the original track is made by Ben Hemsley alone: "Ben Hemsley - Tidal" is the radio edit, "Ben Hemsley - Tidal (The Euphoric Mix)" is the extended mix and "Ferry Corsten x Ben Hemsley - Tidal" is Ferry's remix of the track. Armada has a habit of putting the remixer's name in the artist section even for recent releases, such as these from ARTY's Favourite Sound EP:

On Apple music however, they're all listed like this:

So yeah, the Ferry Corsten version is a remix and they should just call a remix a remix when it's a remix.
