Key4050 was a blast in an otherwise confusing DS. I appreciate the local booking (Simon + Nifra), but Blastoyz was absolutely horrible and the scheduling was utter madness. The night had zero flow. At least Atkinson closed with a bang, the mad lad knows how to make people dance at 6 in the morning after 11 hours!
As for the track itself, love the lead but the sample doesn't give too much away otherwise. I will post my vid tomorrow hopefully. The track is 100% tech with a very heavy kick
It really depends, personally I understand why they put Simon O Shine first (its not that huge name and he is local) and I totally respect when DJ plays the style fans are expecting. U cant really expect Nifra would play 138 after Simon or other way around. Its the same like Transmission, they put Cosmic Gate in between PVD and Fila and it was totally fine, u cant really push Comsic Gate to play faster, since its not their style... I prefer if the night goes more in the zig zag style rather than from 128 to 140....back in the old days, Trance Energy era for example, they never did the line-up accortding to bpm. And now these times are back and I prefer it, its much better...
...just like a concert, i never ever seen a concert where they start with ballads and ends with upbeat stuff, its like zig zag and its the best possible way...for me and hopefully for others too
