Positives: Love it. You've made enough changes for it to feel really fresh and not just a modern rehash. You had your own ideas for it, and I appreciate that. Love the drums/perc and the bassline especially, it has a great groove to it but it's also very lush. This is some of the best stuff you've done in my opinion. Would have maybe preferred another layer to the main melody in the climax, akin to how Lieb did it, just to make it sound a bit more pro, bit more interesting. Otherwise, will probably come back to this.

Negatives: The naming. No matter the expired rights or whatever, I'm always one for crediting the original artist in the actual name of the track.

Cheers for the feedback Gagi. I guess the drum loop may be a love/hate thing with people - a close producer mate of mine said he didnt like how it was static and doesnt change octave. But basically i made the whole remix around that loop and groove,so i stuck with it hehe.

Yes,ive named it a cover..there is a good reason - i think if it named it a remix of 'LSG' - it mightve been totally blocked from Youtube - and no one would ever hear it. The same happened with my Cafe del Mar remix,it was removed from Youtube - i had to rename it 'Sunset On San Antonio' and its since had hundreds of thousands of plays, and one of my most popular tracks.

My version of the 1997 Trance Classic by Oliver Lieb.

I have never heard the original, but this is very calming. I don't really have any production advice. It sounds good to me. I like that click hi hat. The attack of it tickles my ear.

Thanks for sharing

This might satisfy some new trance fans but whoever likes the original wont enojoy this, this is way to cheese, clean & polished. Pretty much the opposite of everything that made Oliver Liebs music so fucking amazing

vVery happy to see some beats back in your work, and that its for your chill stuff too. A much more interesting experience I think. You've also put your own spin on it which I really like, although there's one synth that I love in Netherworld which you've omitted here. Maybe its only on the prime mix as thats my favorite.

I would agree with the comment above that its a shame the grittiness and rawness is not there as it is a hallmark factor of the original, but it doesn't ruin things for me.
