"Recent" private messages

After a few days, the system marks a private conversation as "not recent", and then doesn't display it when clicking the mail symbol. You have to click on "show all" and then you see the conversations you had.

I would like the period before it goes into "not recent" to be longer. It's now 3 days or something.

Can't it be like a month or something? Or maybe even always the last 3 regardless of how long ago?

Good point. Wasn't able to find anything relevant in our admin panel from a quick glance, will try to look it up later.

Actually, because im inept & because i have ideas regarding a conversation had privately over a half hour period. Is there any way to stop the 5 minute editing window? I end up posting 4 posts when i could just press edit add to a private post and have 1 post ( not 4 or5) . No worries if not, but i bet you guys would find it a bloody blessing. It has no limit on public threads here but does in private conversations. ( 5 mins to edit or its trapped ) Trust me. Jetflag and Lost Legend would thank you also .
