SleepyBuddah - Old Ways

Have been a little quiet lately since I was a little bit under the weather.
Have been working on a couple of tracks but got a bit stuck on them and hopefully I will be able to get any further on them.
In the meantime other ideas have been flooding my mind and I've managed to get a very rough idea going which took roughly 2 hours to make a beginning.
It's just very very rough so there's almost no processing and off course there will be changes. I might even change the title.
I've uploaded it to SoundCloud but it's to bad SoundCloud messes up some thing because the original file does sound better.
But anyway it's just a quick thing that needs work and I hope you'll get a little idea of where it might go.

Musically this sounds great. Really love the synth layers and the chord progression. Has a really nice proggy vibe to it.

The bass seems a little low in the mix to me (I am listening on regular ear buds atm though!)

I think maybe doing something a bit more groovy with the percussion and add some nice atmospheric effects in the background would take this up a few levels for sure.

Overall, sounding nice so far!

I'm pretty happy with this rough sketch and the aim is progressive indeed.

So a lot more work, care and love will be added to this track and I can't wait to see where it will end this time. It's certainly going to be a finisher.
