A long forgotten fantastic track which just gets into your head and stays there for the rest of the day. The melody is simple yet extremely impactful and the overall tone just fits that era superbly. A true 2004 classic

One of my favourites. Love the intricate melody lines and lively percussion, esp. the off beat tom hits in the background. Not to mention the unique-sounding synth. Really takes you on a journey this one.

How many memories can you have, this song came out when you were born haha
Lol true, but that doesn't mean I can't have memories listening to the compilation 10 years later of course :)

I know this is a talk for another time and another place, but I'm curious: Being from 2004, how much do you know about trance/progressive from lets say pre-2000? Are you tipping your toes in that era or well versed in that time?

To be honest, not that much considering the fact that I started to prefer classic trance over modern in end 2019 after having discovered it in 2015. I know some tracks from that era from the ASOT Classics compilations and the tunes posted on the forum, but I'm mostly unfamilliar with them.

Big fan of Nic Vegter but I'll pass on this one. Excellent arrangement and build-up throughout but I personally can't put up with the melody. I think I prefer his Classified Project classics far more (the best of all CP originals being Starlight Chaser in my view).
