Since putting this short clip on soundcloud, ive had 124 plays in 3 days??? Really not sure how.

its a tribal house/dance thing. My new friend from Eritrea (Ethiopia, Africa) will soon hopefully be singing and chanting on it. ( He’s been a lead singer / vocalist and lead man in a successful touring band)


This is just a 1 min part of sections playing all together. But why’s it got 124 plays in 3 days? I usually get 4!

jetlag made a good point, we'll need a bit more before we can say something.

I'm also experimenting with my first tribal beat and I'm finding it hard to stick to one music genre around it.

You kinda nailed the rhytmic aspect of the west/central african vibe (be it in a kinda cliched white-mans way but anyways haha) but im not sure the synths you are using really fit this narrative. it sounds too-8-bit-video-gamey in a way but now after hearing it more times its still sounds cute

Hard to say more as its pretty basic this far.

Cheers man, yeah. Its on my list of tracks to develop. Hensmon very much likes a track called ‘A New Breath’ don’t worry you don’t have to listen to it but you probably have already i think as it’s possible i put it on the forum. It’s another on my to do list but im focusing on Dancing in the shadows more at the moment. Thank you for listening and helping mate
